The first weekend of Spring.. and our first camping trip. It was a nice weekend, so we decided to head off. Picked Jackson because it was one of the few sites that was open this early in the season.
The campground is nice and has a newer playground for the kids.. it overlooks Portage Lake. We walked down to the fishing pier and looked around. Did some geocaching and generally enjoyed ourselves. Night time was colder but used the electric heater (only) and it kept the camper pretty warm.
